Gateley Legal secures four shortlists at East Midlands Rainmaker Awards 2026

Our Nottingham corporate team has been shortlisted for four awards at this year’s East Midlands Rainmaker Awards 2026, recognising the strength of its corporate practice and the calibre of its recent deal activity.

The team has been shortlisted for National Legal Team of the Year, while Beth Mather, partner and head of our national corporate team, has been nominated for Changemaker of the Year.

Gateley Legal has also been recognised in two deal categories:

• Small Deal of the Year (up to £10m): LDC-backed acquisition of three marinas by Aquavista
• Large Deal of the Year (£50m+): LDC exit of Aquavista Watersides & Marinas to Antin Infrastructure Partners

Taking place on 5 November 2026, the East Midlands Rainmaker Awards, hosted by TheBusinessDesk, will bring together the region’s leading dealmakers to celebrate the achievements of the corporate finance community over the past year. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham.
