UCLH: numerous projects requiring pre- and post-contract services acting as designer and contract administrator/ project manager for external repairs and maintenance, internal refurbishments/ alterations to multiple London sites, including several heritage/ conservation projects of Listed buildings (£0.25m to £3m). One of Matt’s biggest achievements was the design and project management of refurbishment and improvement works to underground tunnels that link three separate hospitals (at ground level) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The tunnels were subject to water ingress (which was a focus point of the design) and associated remedial and improvement works. Matt was responsible for the careful design and planning in respect of the strict controls that were to be in place for transporting cancer patients at this critical time needed to be considered and adhered to.
