Fresh fruit deliveries across our offices are making a difference in more ways than one. Through our partnership with Fruitful Office, everyday choices around workplace wellbeing are also contributing to environmental and social outcomes.
Fruitful Office takes a practical approach to sustainability, focusing on reducing packaging, emissions and waste at every stage of the supply chain. Wherever possible, fruit is sourced locally from growers across the UK and Europe, helping reduce food miles while maintaining quality and freshness. Packaging is kept to a minimum, with reusable crates and recyclable materials helping cut down unnecessary waste.
This approach extends beyond sourcing and delivery. More than half of deliveries are already made using low-emission or electric routes, with logistics carefully planned to reduce distance and impact. Any surplus fruit is redistributed to charities and foodbanks through partners such as The Felix Project and FareShare, ensuring it reaches people who need it most rather than going to waste. Fruit that can no longer be used is converted into green energy, contributing to a circular approach to resources.
The impact goes even further. For every three fruit crates delivered, a tree is planted in Malawi, helping to restore forests, capture carbon and create sustainable income for local communities. In 2024 alone, Fruitful Office planted over 770,000 trees with its clients, demonstrating how small, everyday actions can scale into meaningful environmental change.
