Our team is celebrating success after our HR business partner, Nicola Bowen, scooped the ‘HR Person of the Year’ prize at the Investors in People (IIP) Awards 2024, for her contributions over the years leading up to Gateley Smithers Purslow achieving platinum status.
Held at the Old Billingsgate in London, the ceremony saw over 800 guests come together to celebrate the pinnacle of excellence in organisational development and people management at a glamorous black-tie event.
This year’s IIP awards received more than 300 entries submitted from 200 organisations across 15 countries, with the ‘HR Person of the Year’ category whittled down to just five finalists.
Andrew Bussey, managing director at Gateley Smithers Purslow, said: “Nicola’s extremely well-deserved win is very much testament to the outstanding contributions she has made during her time at Gateley Smithers Purslow. She has excelled at leading on our IIP platinum status retention and culture-based initiatives and we owe a lot of our success to her. So, it’s brilliant to be able to shine a light on her hard work and celebrate her efforts.”
Gateley Smithers Purslow was also shortlisted within the ‘UK Employer of the Year (50-249 people) – Platinum’ category.
