Insight shared by:

Gateley Legal

We have acted for the shareholders of Huntswood Group on its sale to US-based ResultsCX, a leading global provider of customer experience management services.

The acquisition of Huntswood will enable ResultsCX to further expand its footprint in Europe and also establish a presence in South Africa where Huntswood has a service delivery operation.

Founded in 1996 and with operations in Reading, Scotland and South Africa, Huntswood specialises in outsourcing, resourcing, recruitment, and advisory services such as customer complaints, customer service and remediation.

US-based ResultsCX employs over 23,000 people worldwide, providing customer service solutions to some of the world’s leading brands, including Fortune 100 and 500 firms. The company is backed by one of India’s largest private equity firms, ChrysCapital.

Martin Dodd, CEO of Huntswood said, “We are excited to be a part of the ResultsCX organisation. With this partnership, we will collectively have a strong workforce of 6,000 skilled professionals in the UK and Europe, enhancing ResultsCX’s digital-first operations. Both companies share a deep commitment to people-centricity, focusing on the delivery of outstanding customer experiences alongside the creation of a supportive and inclusive work environment.”

Our corporate team was led by Reading partner Andrew Peddie, working with partner Martin Montgomery, and assisted by Laurel Knight and Anjeli Jaiswal, who were supported by the wider Gateley team.

Matthew Bonfield, formerly Chairman of Huntswood, said: “Andrew and his team at Gateley have provided us with excellent and tireless support across all aspects of this transaction throughout the process, and we are delighted with the outcome. There were a number of complex elements to the transaction, and we really appreciated the team’s hard work, responsiveness, and insight in getting the deal completed.”

Andrew Peddie, added: “Having worked with Huntswood over a few years prior to this transaction, it was fantastic to help the seller group to achieve this outcome, and to see the Huntswood operation put into such good hands for its future.”
