Gateley partners with GB Snowsport ahead of Winter Olympics and Paralympics

We entered a new strategic partnership with GB Snowsport, becoming its official legal partner ahead of the 2025/26 winter season and the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Milan‑Cortina 2026.

Our partnership was designed to support British athletes at a pivotal point in their preparation, funding a series of final training camps designed to help them compete at the highest level as the season builds towards World Cup competition and, ultimately, the Games. Alongside elite performance, we also focused on widening access to the sport, working with GB Snowsport and its community partners to help broaden participation across the UK. 

As the national governing body for high‑performance snowsports, GB Snowsport oversees 12 Olympic and Paralympic disciplines, supporting athletes to reach World Cup podiums and international success. In addition to funding and sponsorship, we provided legal expertise across commercial and personnel matters, acting as a trusted partner within the sport’s wider support network.

The partnership quickly delivered results to celebrate. Earlier this year, Team GB excelled at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, securing three gold medals, all on snow and ice, marking a first for Britain at a single Winter Games.

Through this collaboration, we combined professional expertise, investment and shared ambition to support athletes, strengthen the sport’s foundations and help extend opportunity beyond elite competition. It is a clear example of how partnership can help unlock achievement on the world stage and within communities through sustained, joined up effort.
