Universities in the UK are internationally renowned for their research. Commercialising this research is often difficult, however, particularly for universities based outside of the ‘Golden Triangle’ of London, Oxford, and Cambridge.
To better understand why, we invited contacts working in university technology transfer offices (TTOs) across the UK to provide their views on the issues faced by the sector. We also sought their opinions on three key publications issued in 2023 and 2024:
- The Independent Review of University Spinout Companies;
- The TenU University Spin-out Investment Terms (USIT); and
- The TenU University Spin-out Investment Terms (USIT) Software Guide 2024.
The results of our survey are now available in a summary report, which is available to download below.
