Our Nottingham office launched a new partnership with Broadway Cinema, an independent cinema, supporting its work to create an inclusive and welcoming space for film lovers across the city.

The partnership supports a range of initiatives designed to widen access to culture, including pay-what-you-can family screenings, baby and parent screenings, tailored provision for neurodivergent audiences, and Broadway’s extensive community outreach programme. Together, these initiatives help ensure cinema remains accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds and needs.

We launched our partnership ahead of Christmas with a celebration that brought people together. Colleagues, alongside friends and family, attended a private screening of the festive classic Home Alone, complete with a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, marking the start of a relationship rooted in shared values and community connection.

We’re incredibly grateful to our partners at Gateley for their support this year, helping us continue to build a lifelong love of film in Nottingham. At a challenging time for charities like ours, it’s wonderful to work with organisations that believe in the power of cinema and the arts to bring positive change to our community.

As part of the partnership, we also received an allocation of cinema tickets, which were donated to Welbeck Primary School, helping local children access cultural experiences they might not otherwise have had.

Built around inclusion and community, our partnership with Broadway reflects how supporting local cultural institutions can help create welcoming spaces where people can connect, participate and feel a sense of belonging.
