We have renewed our partnership with social mobility programme Regeneration Brainery for a third year.

Regeneration Brainery aims to narrow the skills gap and increase diversity in the property industry by inspiring and supporting young people from under-represented backgrounds. The programme sees students take part in a series of workshops, networking events, and work experience to demonstrate the opportunities that a career in the built environment can offer.

As part of the partnership, Gateley will utilise our comprehensive Property Platform – made up of core legal services as well as complementary technical consultancy businesses – to deliver insight and expertise to students across all aspects of the industry, as well as continuing to host workshops in our offices across the country.

Since first partnering in 2024, Regeneration Brainery has supported more than 1,500 students, with Gateley hosting workshops and coffee mornings in our Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and London bases.

We are excited to be working with Gateley for a third consecutive year. Their continued support has strengthened our ability to improve access to careers in the built environment for young diverse talent. We look forward to continuing our work together and building on the meaningful impact already achieved.

Hayley Sullivan, partner in Gateley Legal’s construction team and member of the Regeneration Brainery advisory board, added: “We’re proud to renew our partnership with Regeneration Brainery for a third year. Their dedication to inspiring future talent and creating pathways into the industry is something we’re truly proud to champion, and I look forward to continuing this important work together.”

The partnership with Regeneration Brainery is the latest in a series of responsible business sponsorships by Gateley. Elsewhere in the North West, we support pioneering homeless project Embassy Village and are a partner of The Lowry, supporting the cultural institution’s outreach programme for communities in Salford and Greater Manchester.

In the Midlands, Gateley supports conservation and nature restoration charity Heart of England Forest and in the South, we are a partner of Maiden Cricket, a clothing brand dedicated to creating cricket kits specifically designed for women and girls.
