We are delighted to share that Laurel Knight, corporate senior associate at Gateley Legal, has been named Young Dealmaker of the Year at the Thames Valley Deals Awards 2024.

Held at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in Reading, the Thames Valley Deals Awards celebrate the region’s dealmaking community and its successes over the past 12 months.

Up against four other worthy individuals, Laurel Knight’s win is a testament to her achievements in completing deals and significant contribution to the business landscape of the Thames Valley.

Gateley Legal’s Reading Corporate team was additionally shortlisted for a further four deals categories – Corporate Deal of the Year for its role in the Huntswood Group’s sale to ResultsCX, Large Deal of the Year (over £50m) for the MBO of DSP, Mid-range Deal of the Year (£10-£50m) for the MBO of Smart Numbers backed by YFM Equity Partners and Small Deal of the Year for March Foods’ sale to Delightful Food Group.
