James provides clients with financial reports, e.g. cost reports and valuations. He also provides financial reports to external parties, specifically for insurance jobs.
James attends site and assesses progress, as well as attending for information needed, e.g. specification of building, materials, measurements.
James confidently leads meetings with team members, such as the client, engineers, contractors, architects etc.
How do you help clients?
I help clients by liaising with them on any issues they may have and assessing how to overcome these. I ensure to provide updates to them, so that they know how the project is progressing. I attend the property, so that both the client and I can receive the correct information. I make sure I provide reports and information of good quality, so that the information is easy to understand and process.

- Providing continuous communication, so that any problems/ issues the client may have can be dealt with and so that options can be assessed.
- Communicating with clients on a regular basis, including attending monthly site meetings to allow the team to discuss ideas or issues.
- Providing clients with necessary information regarding progress on site, which can be in a report format, over the telephone or in person.
- Making sure that the client always has the necessary information, which could include drawings or decisions made directly with the architect, contractor or engineer. It is important that the client receives all the necessary information, so that they are up-to-date with the project.
