Advising Storage World and Paul Fahey on the sale of two self-storage sites to Shurgard

We have advised Storage World Limited and Paul Fahey on the sale of two self-storage sites in Manchester to Shurgard Self Storage Limited (Shurgard), Europe’s largest provider of self-storage solutions.

The transaction included: (i) the disposal by Storage World of a fully operational site in central Manchester, which has been serving customers since 2013; and (ii) the disposal by Paul Fahey of a second site currently under construction in east Manchester. The site under construction is expected to open by the end of 2026. Together, the sites will add approx. 13,200m² of net lettable area to Shurgard’s UK portfolio.
