These outstanding results reflect the strength, depth and momentum of our Midlands corporate team, who have had a phenomenal year. In the past 12 months, the team has advised on 73 transactions worth over £1.2bn, including 28 deals involving Midlands businesses with a combined value of £800m; a clear demonstration of the team’s commitment to regional dealmaking.
Beth Mather’s recognition as Corporate Lawyer of the Year is a particularly proud moment for Gateley. Having risen through the ranks from trainee to national head of corporate, Beth’s journey is a true story of leadership, excellence and impact. Her award recognises not only her technical expertise, but also her role as a trailblazer and mentor within the firm and the wider business community.
