Our colleagues in Belfast have recently been collecting school supplies and uniforms to support Aspire NI’s back-to-school initiative.
Aspire NI are a local charity who work with young people in poverty in Northern Ireland, to help close the educational attainment gap that exists between rich and poor. Their back-to-school initiative was developed to help alleviate some of the pressures placed on families as their children return to schools in September.
The cost of uniforms, PE kit, and all the required stationery, puts pressure on families over the summer, so these donations go a long way in supporting the young people as they go back to school over the next couple of weeks.
