Mike is a dedicated, client-focused experienced professional, working within the construction industry since 2012. Mike has a keen eye for detail and prides himself on delivering a quality product and ensuring that the client’s expectations and desired specifications are met.
Mike has carried out the role of a Clerk of Works since 2017, having worked on many different projects and with a wide range of developers – giving him vast knowledge in new build housing.
Mike is dedicated to building excellent working relationships with clients and ensuring that a smooth transition of delivery from developer to client is achieved with each project he works on. Mike works with housing associations throughout the UK, as well as with local authorities.
How do you help clients?
As a clerk of works, I play a vital role in supporting housing associations and local authorities by ensuring that the new build homes they receive meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. I act as an independent inspector on-site, monitoring construction progress, verifying that materials and workmanship align with specifications, and identifying any issues early to prevent costly delays or defects. My work helps safeguard the interests of clients by ensuring that homes are delivered in a safe, durable, and regulation-compliant condition – ultimately contributing to better living environments for future residents.
