Advising Cooper Parry on the acquisition of Hutcheon Mearns

We have advised professional services group Cooper Parry on the acquisition of Hutcheon Mearns, a specialist finance advisory firm headquartered in Aberdeen.

Founded in 2015, Hutcheon Mearns delivers growth strategies, solves complex finance challenges and builds high-performing finance teams for its clients. With offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and London, its team of over 70 professionals provides corporate finance advice and leverages technology to streamline processes across sectors including energy, manufacturing, food & drink, technology and professional services.

This acquisition marks Cooper Parry’s sixth deal since partnering with Lee Equity Partners in December 2024. It takes the group’s pro forma turnover to over £250m and brings its headcount in Scotland to just under 100.
