We have advised LDC, the private equity investor and part of Lloyds Banking Group, on its significant investment in battery power specialist Power Saving Solutions.
Power Saving Solutions, based in Mansfield, provides high-performance battery storage and hybrid power systems for commercial use. Operating a rental, sales and service model, the business has grown significantly, driven by demand from construction, transport and utilities, increasing its revenues by 34% in 2023 and doubling its manufacturing and technical workforce in 2024 to increase capacity and support R&D.
With LDC’s backing, Power Saving Solutions is poised to embark on the next phase of its proven growth strategy, solidifying its market-leading position in battery storage. The investment will enable the company to intensify its focus on product development and diversify into new markets, driving further innovation and expansion.
Gateley Legal’s corporate team was led by partner and national head of corporate Beth Mather and corporate and private equity partner Matt Hussey with support from corporate solicitors Sophie Holdsworth, Rosie Butler, Jessica Snape and Paige Richardson.
