Ellsworthy Limited, a special takeover vehicle backed by New York-based private equity firm Atlas Merchant Capital and Qatari investment bank QInvest LLC, will take Panmure Gordon private.
The team advised Hopton Advisors LLP, financial adviser to Ellsworthy Limited.
Established in 1876, Panmure Gordon is one of Britain’s oldest stockbrokers, providing independent advice, research, solutions and execution services to UK small and mid-cap corporates and investment companies.
