Our Birmingham office is celebrating after securing two prestigious awards at the Birmingham Law Society 2025 Legal Awards.
We won the Law Firm of the Year (50+ employees) award, with the judges impressed by our “industry leadership, innovation, and client excellence, driven by a strong commitment to inclusion, community engagement, and talent development.” Key achievements have included, amongst others, delivering the ninth consecutive year of growth since IPO, attracting an impressive roster of new clients including being named exclusive legal supplier to Badminton England, and successfully supporting and partnering with a diverse array of local organisations including the Heart of England Forest, RunThrough and local charities to deliver on our commitment to being a responsible business.
For the second consecutive year, we also won the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) award, celebrating our achievements in promoting EDI within the business and the broader legal community. According to the judges we are “developing inclusive policies and creating safe spaces for honest conversations, they empower employees to bring their whole selves to work. This culture of belonging is deeply integrated, shaping who they are and how they grow. While they celebrate progress, they remain committed to continuing this journey with their people at the heart of it.” Over the past year, this business has continued to promote well-being, LGBTQ+ inclusion, cultural diversity, career development, and disability awareness through our five internal community groups, developed a DEI compliance audit, launched a Menopause Café, established a Mental Health First Aider network and promoted social mobility through partnerships with Birmingham Law Society, BMet, Forage, and Birmingham Black Lawyers, among others.
