Josh currently works with a number of regional governments globally, delivering bespoke account management, inward investment and business support services that drive strategic investment, boost local job creation and ensure exceptional outcomes for clients.

With an M.Sc. in international business from the University of Nottingham specialising in comparative FDI in-flows and global tax policy, Josh supports the public and private sectors to meet and exceed their inward investment objectives delivering demonstratable economic value that advances regional growth outcomes.

Experience

1. Currently leading strategic account management services in the West Midlands – identifying, engaging and supporting businesses across the Combined Authority to overcome barriers to growth, boost regional investment and deliver positive outcomes for the Office for Investment (OFI).
2. Delivered key account management services for Leicester City and Leicestershire County Councils – building a pipeline of foreign owned accounts across Leicestershire, providing bespoke business support services that drive further regional investment and support the national work of the Department of Business and Trade.
3. Worked as the UK and Ireland in-market representative for the US State of Ohio – tasked with researching, identifying, outreaching, engaging and supporting expansive UK-based companies with an intention to expand into North America.
4. Delivered international trade delegations – developed and presented bespoke content, events and site visits for multiple international businesses and government agencies looking to learn from or expand into the UK from Italy, Catalonia, The Nordics, Australia, Japan and the US.
5. Secured vetted expansion leads for global economic development agencies – conducted research and targeted outreach in strategic priority sectors for regional government agencies in Canada and Switzerland.
