Natalie has specialised in residential development for almost 25 years and is a recognised leader in this area. Natalie’s work covers both immediate and strategic land development. This includes conditional contracts, promotion, option and hybrid agreements, overage and ransom arrangements, development agreements, collaboration agreements, serviced site transactions, as well as company sales and purchases. Natalie acts for housebuilders, land promoters, landowners and master developers. She has extensive experience in acting jointly for multiple housebuilders developing in consortium on large scale strategic sites and urban extensions. Her clients include Catesby Estates, IM Properties, Miller, Morris Homes, Kier and Taylor Wimpey.

I help my clients by understanding their business and what they are seeking to achieve on land deals. This commerciality alongside my extensive experience in the sector enables me to navigate often complex contractual arrangements and structure them to ensure that my clients’ objectives are met.
Experience
- Advising Taylor Wimpey on the conditional purchase of a 3,500 dwelling scheme in Aylesbury, and prior to that a hybrid promotion/option agreement with the majority landowner within the development area.
- Advising Housebuilder consortia on strategic development sites in Horley, North Whiteley and Luton creating new communities with over 10,000 dwellings in aggregate.
- Advising Miller and Kier on a strategic development site in South Wokingham comprising 1,400 dwellings.
- Advising Morris Homes on several building lease developments with Homes England.
- Advising Catesby Estates on various promotion agreements and land sales to housebuilders.
