Sam is a highly-motivated clerk of works. Drawing on his 20 plus years’ experience in the construction industry as a general builder and principal contractor, Sam strives to deliver a quality service for our clients. With a keen eye for detail and, having previously managed his own team of specialist trades, Sam is a proven leader and team player, expecting nothing but the best from himself and his team. Sam carries out regular site visits on behalf of clients, ensuring the client has a regular “boots on the ground” presence on site, ensuring quality and specification requirements are met.
How do you help clients?
I help clients to feel at ease with the project we are undertaking together. They entrust me to deliver a thorough and comprehensive service and I get great pleasure from doing my best to deliver just that.
I have great attention to detail and am very personable, allowing me to ensure quality on behalf of the client, whilst managing and maintaining a good working relationship with the site teams. This allows me to be the link between the developer and client, utilising my many years of experience in the industry.
Experience
- Project managing and completing a full domestic refurbishment project, working with the client to deliver their “forever home”. A very satisfying project from the first spade in the ground to the final lick of paint and everything in between.
- Advising, designing and undertaking an extension and landscaping project for a client in Sheffield.
- Working with Nuneaton and Bedworth Council and Heart to deliver a full disability-friendly wet room and accommodation alterations for a client in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
- Undertaking an extensive commercial alteration and extension project for Abacus Chiropractic Clinic in Stratford-Upon-Avon, working with the client to deliver a complete project, whilst keeping the practice operational and maintaining the highest level of health and safety for the staff and patients.
- Carried out site inspections on behalf of a client, and upon carrying out checks to ensure M4(3) compliance on a new build bungalow, discovered many areas of major non-compliance. I worked with the developer and client to overcome the issues and finally delivered a stunning fully-compliant plot.
- Delivery of 28 mixed tenure homes in Bedworth.
- Delivery of 90 mixed tenure homes in Melton Mowbray for Sage Homes.
