Sarah is a Chartered Surveyor and works across a range of rural and commercial property. Sarah began her career working within commercial property legal services, and transitioned to become a surveyor primarily providing advice to infrastructure and utility public sector clients. 

Sarah has worked on a range of instructions including site assembly for major projects, land access, valuations, compensation, landlord and tenant matters and estate management.

Experience

  1. Acting on behalf of a public sector landowner affected by a DCO road scheme, negotiating terms and compensation for operational land.
  2. Leading early engagement negotiations on major railway projects, including agreements for main and satellite compounds.
  3. Securing access rights for a series of bridge demolitions and reconstructions.
  4. Negotiating rights for new electricity project connections, including EV charging schemes and renewable energy schemes connecting into National Grid substations.
  5. Agreeing injurious affection compensation relating to residential land.
  6. Advising on landlord and tenant matters, boundary disputes, trespass, adverse possession, and a wide range of estate management issues across operational electricity and rail estates.
