Experience

  1. Assisting a leading national housebuilder on acquiring a substantial development site from multiple landowners for a scheme aimed at delivering up to 2,500 homes. The site has a gross development value of approximately £750m. The acquisition also included a collaboration agreement with another developer.
  2. Advising national housebuilders on acquiring sites from various landowners, typically on a conditional basis, and assisting with onward disposals to development partners, including registered providers and private rented sector operators.
  3. Advised a major national supermarket on acquiring a development site comprising multiple titles owned by two landowners. The site was secured through a conditional contract with one landowner for the purchase of seven titles, while an option agreement with another landowner facilitated the acquisition of the remaining titles. The total acquisition cost was approximately £6m.
  4. Advising on the sale of a large development site via a golden brick development agreement and subsequently overseeing the phased disposal of the site.
