We have advised Deca Non‑Ferrous Alloys Ltd, part of the Deca Group, on its acquisition of the businesses and assets of P&P Non-Ferrous (Stockists) Ltd (P&P) and Bornmore Metals Ltd (Bornmore Metals) out of administration.
The transaction ensures the continuity of two long‑established UK non‑ferrous metals suppliers, safeguarding their operations and supporting Deca’s strategic growth in the manufacturing sector.
Both businesses, following the pre-pack transaction, will continue trading under the same names and maintain operations at their respective sites in Brierley Hill, Bristol, and Blackburn. All 24 staff will transfer to Deca Non-Ferrous Alloys Ltd.
We provided full legal support to Deca across corporate, banking, employment, commercial, real estate and tax aspects of the acquisition. Our team was led by Daniel French, supported by Andrew Cowan, Helen Jones, Rebecca North, Rebecca Mills, Lauren Jones, David Harris, Sophie Gill, Alex Golding, Andrew Macmillan, Shazan Miah and Tammi Broad.
The deal involved collaboration with Praetura Commercial Finance Limited and Grove Investments Limited, with the sellers represented by Hill Dickinson LLP.
This acquisition strengthens Deca Group’s position within the UK manufacturing market and supports its commitment to long‑term sector investment.
