We have advised the shareholders of Hilton Coachworks, the UK’s largest independent manufacturer-approved repair centre, on its acquisition by private equity firm Sun European Partners.

Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Bishop’s Stortford, Hilton Coachworks is a leading specialist in high-quality vehicle repairs for premium automotive brands including Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Tesla. The business is renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities, use of genuine manufacturer parts and commitment to restoring vehicles to pre-accident standards.

Sun European Partners, the European adviser to US-based Sun Capital Partners, brings deep operational expertise and a strong track record of supporting businesses through transformational growth. The acquisition marks a significant milestone in Hilton Coachworks’ journey and positions the business for enhanced efficiency and sustainable growth.
