We have advised global provider of advanced passive reusable cold chain solutions, Tower Cold Chain, on its sale to Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), a global provider of advanced thermal packaging and digital monitoring solutions for the transportation of temperature-sensitive life sciences products.
The deal represents the sale of the entire issued share capital of Tower Cold Chain to CCT, which is backed by US private equity house Aurora Capital Partners. This is CCT’s fourth acquisition since partnering with the private equity house in 2019, which has enabled its expansion into new life sciences vertical sectors.
Headquartered in Theale, UK, and with 20 service hubs globally, Tower Cold Chain manufactures advanced passive reusable thermal packaging solutions for the transportation of life sciences products for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications. Its acquisition by CCT will allow Tower to spark its new phase of growth by leveraging CCT’s product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, track-and-trace software, and R&D expertise.
Gateley Legal’s team was led by partner and London head of corporate Zum Mohammed, supported by corporate partner Oliver Harker, corporate senior associate Enes Ilgun, corporate solicitor Olivia Isbister, tax partner Richard Clitherow and tax senior associates Anamika Pandey and David Williams.
