Partner and head of Reputation Management Rory Lynch has been announced as a 2025 Spear’s Awards finalist for Reputation Lawyer of the Year.
The announcement comes after Rory played an instrumental role in a landmark legal victory against the anonymous controller of trolling site Tattle Life, a result that secured the largest damages and costs award for defamation in Northern Irish history and unmasked the controversial site’s operator as businessman and social media ‘influencer’ Sebastian Bond.
“It’s an honour to be named a finalist for Reputation Lawyer of the Year,” Rory said. “In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), social media, and anonymous trolling, private clients face significant challenges in managing their privacy and reputations.
“As our work against Tattle Life and its founder demonstrates, however, it is possible to unmask bad actors on the internet, defend reputations, and seek redress.
“I look forward to catching up with colleagues and contacts from across the private client sector at the ceremony in November and would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck.”
Organised by Spear’s Magazine, a wealth management and luxury lifestyle media brand, the 2025 Spear’s Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of wealth managers, lawyers, and service providers to ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
This year’s ceremony will be held at Raffles London at the OWO on 20 November 2025. For more information, visit their website.
