Dave has a wealth of experience in and around the construction industry, he is a hard-working and highly motivated person who enjoys working under his own initiative or as part of a team.
Dave has excellent communication skills, both internally and externally. These skills are brought to the fore in his dealings with housing association clients, especially on various schemes where the clerk of works is the only point of contact with the client and their representatives.
Dave has excellent knowledge of the construction industry and is only too happy to help colleagues and clients when any issues arise. He is an Associate member of ICWCI.
How do you help clients?
I help clients by carrying out site inspections as per their requirements, ensuring that I give the best level of service possible. I listen to my clients’ needs and proactively act upon these to ensure the needs of each client are met as soon as possible.
I ensure that all plots are compliant with the relevant standards and building regulations, ensuring each stage is checked meticulously and identifying any defects or discrepancies during the construction stages. I help clients by aiming to ensure that each plot is completed efficiently and to the best possible standards and agreed specifications.
Experience
- Monitoring the quality and workmanship of each given project.
- Stage inspections from foundations to snagging, de-snagging and handover inspections.
- Programme monitoring and advising clients and colleagues in good time where programmes are likely to slip, which will then affect any handovers.
- Advising clients on relevant standards and regulations where required.
