We have advised Hortons on 132,000 sq ft Leamington Spa campus acquisition.
Our team have provided multi-disciplinary support to independent, Birmingham-based property company Hortons during its acquisition of a 12.8-acre, fully-let research, development and manufacturing facility in Leamington Spa.
The campus-style development, located off the A425 Southam Road at Radford Semele, comprises 132,569 sq ft across three buildings, including a manufacturing facility, a hi-tech warehouse unit and an office building.
The acquisition supports Hortons’ strategy of broadening its geographical footprint and sector exposure and follows several recent industrial/ logistics acquisitions across the Midlands.
Led by real estate partner James Madill and real estate solicitor Amanda Matyjaszczyk, we advised on a spectrum of real estate matters including environmental issues, historic drainage agreements and possible riparian rights.
Alongside real estate expertise, further support was provided by Jonathan Dugdale for construction matters, Richard Clitherow for tax advice and Matthew Scudamore for planning guidance. Additionally, Shelley Michael assisted with GIS services.
