Cordelia is a solicitor in the corporate team, based in our Leeds office, advising on a broad range of corporate matters including acquisition and disposals, management buy-outs, investments, shareholders’ agreements, reorganisations and general corporate governance matters.
Cordelia acts for a wide variety of clients including individuals, start-ups, owner-managed businesses and investors across a number of sectors.
Cordelia is also a committee member of the P100 Club in Leeds, a network group of young professionals from a variety of professional services firms and sectors.
Experience
- Acting for the shareholders of Sano Physiotherapy on the sale of the group to and investment by Bestport Private Equity.*
- Acting for the shareholders of an independent IFA business on the sale to a financial services consolidator, Perspective Financial Group Ltd.*
- Acting for the shareholders of an independent insurance business on the sale to a leading global insurance intermediary.*
- Acting for a business in connection with two acquisitions of two tile and bathroom trade and distribution suppliers.*
- Acting for Pointer Group Ltd on the acquisition of HDC (Group Holdings) Limited and The Homework Diary Company Limited.*
- Assisting Mercia Ventures in relation to a further investment of £2.75 million in Salesfire Ltd.*
- Acting for the management buyout team on the buyout of a UK-based power and cooling systems company.*
- Acting on behalf of a software systems business with the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust and the transfer of the controlling interest in the equity share capital to the corporate trustee of the Trust.*
