Our London office recently hosted the first workshop of 2026 with our corporate partner, Regeneration Brainery, showcasing our continued commitment to widening access and supporting the next generation of talent in the built environment.

We welcomed 20 students aged between 16 and 21, to explore careers across property, construction, surveying, and law. The session started with the infamous balloon chair challenge, followed by a Q&A session with Rachael Waugh, Residential Development Partner at Gateley Legal, Adrian Gladstone, Director, building consultancy team at Gateley Vinden, Kayleigh Chapman, Senior Planning Associate at Gateley Legal, and Caroline Pope, Construction Consultant at Gateley Legal. The students gained valuable industry insight and expert advice to a variety of careers, encouraging them to explore their interests and ambitions.

In addition, they got to hear directly from Davina Emmanual-Tackie, a trainee quantity surveyor for Gateley RJA, who was able to give first-hand experience of what it’s like to apply and interview for an apprenticeship with Gateley, and how she balances her full-time work with university.
