We have appointed Liam Mills as a partner in our restructuring advisory team in London, enhancing our capabilities in complex financial restructurings, special situations and private credit.
Liam, who is dual-qualified in England and Ireland, joins from DLA Piper. He brings over 15 years of experience advising on domestic and cross-border restructuring, special situations and finance matters, frequently involving complex and bespoke capital structures and financing arrangements.
Liam specialises in financial restructurings and international finance, and has experience across real estate finance, acquisition finance and structured finance. He leads on a diverse range of restructuring and financing matters, including recapitalisations and refinancings, specialised lending transactions and liability management exercises. He also assists investors with strategic investments in par, distressed and special situation credits.
Our national restructuring advisory team is one of the largest and most experienced in the UK, comprising 25 professionals, including 12 partners and legal directors. Strategically located across major commercial centres, our team combines national strength with deep local market insight to deliver holistic solutions.
