Victoria is a chartered building surveyor with a broad experience in the property, insurance and construction industries, particularly in the residential, commercial and educational sectors.
Victoria has more than 10 years’ experience across a range of surveying services, including insurance reinstatements, condition surveys and building defects; frequently advising on cause and remediation.
She acts as an expert witness writing reports in the fields of construction, including poor workmanship, defects and reinstatement works.
How do you help clients?
I successfully project manage building reinstatement works, following perils such as fire and flooding, from inception through to completion.
I listen to my clients’ requirements and communicate regularly with all parties to design and deliver projects to a high standard.
I provide technical advice to clients on building defect causation and remediation, design and specification, compliance with building regulations, contract administration, dilapidations and party wall matters.
Experience
- Providing design, contract administration, and CDM principal designer services on numerous insurance reinstatement works.
- Completing schedules of dilapidations on commercial properties and successfully negotiating quantified demands.
- Providing expert witness reports, compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
- Communicating with clients regularly to ensure their requirements are met.
