Chris is a director within our built environment team, delivering construction consultancy services to a broad client base including developers, agencies, consultants, and end users across the UK and Europe. His expertise is grounded in 18 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying, project management, and related disciplines, spanning a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector projects.

Chris leads the delivery of quantity surveying, project management, employer’s agent, and development monitoring services on both new build and refurbishment schemes, with project values reaching up to £280m. He provides strategic advice on cost planning, risk management, and procurement for high-profile developments across sectors such as commercial offices, industrial, leisure, residential, retail, and education. He is also appointed as an expert witness in legal disputes concerning quantum.

His role includes advising clients on strategic cost, risk, and procurement matters for landmark projects, with experience across a wide range of sectors including healthcare. He has been engaged as an expert witness in several legal proceedings, offering specialist insight into construction-related disputes.

Experience

1. Acting as the cost lead for a range of healthcare facilities across the North West: new build Theatres Leighton Hospital £35m, new build The Christies Oak Road Treatment Centre £30m, to a number of GP practices for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
2. Acting as QS/EA on New Bailey 3 £40m a new build high-end office development within Salford.
3. Delivering masterplan cost planning for 5,000 dwellings, health facilities and schools in Birmingham.
4. Acting as project monitor for £80m 400-bed new build BTR, including gym, cinema and multi use space in Manchester
5. Acting as cost lead on a £65m education facility in Blackpool.
6. Acting as project director across a multi use development programme for private client looking to invest £450m into the North West.
7. Acting as client and commercial lead for 274 new build homes including a new park situated within North Manchester £50m.
8. Commercial lead on a 634-bed residential scheme in Manchester city centre.
