Karen is a senior building surveyor covering London and the Midlands area in a multi-disciplinary team working on insurance claims and within the private sector.

Projects include general surveying services, design and specification, contract administration, defects diagnosis and health and safety.

Experienced in the management of complex insurance losses, leading people in team environment, able to support both professionals and clients, providing technical advice.

How do you help clients?

I undertake design, specification, contract administration and CDM duties on a range of flood, fire and/ or escape of water perils on all types of properties from local authority to Grade II Listed.

I complete specifications alongside architecture and planning colleagues to complete projects.

I am on site shortly after an insurance peril, guiding the clients through the process of rebuilding their property, reassuring, and reducing their stress to get them back into their home.

I provide advice to clients particularly when a building defect has been identified such as damp issues.
